ARchive

I just thought this photo was interesting- the way the people were dressed
I thought this was just a great photo. This girl was named Lillie.

I thought these two pictures were really interesting- it was a man that would make REAL mattresses.Tom said that he would go and cut the hair off his sheep on the farm to put inside and would hand stitch them together.
This is the infamous Chloe Mons

Chloe Mons is one of Toms greatest friends, his muse, and was once his lover. They consider their love story together as a "Manage e' trois" (french word meaning three lovers)- the three being Tom, Chloe and the camera. They would travel the world taking pictures of Chloe nude-everywhere. Their journey lasted around three years. They have now decided to make a book about their story together.Chloe flew in last week to come look at the photographs and to decide which ones should go into the book. So my job has been to digitize the thousands of negatives he has of her in his archive. (I will probably have to do this with all of his archive-which is ALOT). I find it very interesting-its as if I am along on this journey seeing different countries and cultures from twenty years ago. It really is an amazing thing- im really excited to move on in the archive and learn more.
